The only cat-eye in the collection — and the one most often borrowed by the woman in the room.
Three gold stripes on polished black acetate. The kind of detail you notice on the second glance, never the first.
53-21-140. Italian Mazzucchelli acetate. Optical-ready. Designed for a woman who reads the menu in Italian.
Italian Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate.
Cut from the same cellulose-acetate blocks Mazzucchelli has poured since 1849. Every Soletti frame is sliced and shaped by hand, then tumbled for seventy-two hours. The polish is what acetate does when it is left alone long enough.

Founder
The only cat-eye in the house.
There was a single brief I gave my atelier when we began the Cain: design a cat-eye for the woman who reads the menu in Italian. That was it. No moodboards, no reference images. The team came back six months later and put it in front of me, and I did not change a millimetre.
The three gold stripes set into the polished black acetate are flush — they are not a print, they are not a sticker, they are metal pressed into the material while it is still warm. You can feel them with a fingernail. That is the kind of detail a woman who has worn good things her whole life will find on the second wearing.
I made one cat-eye in this collection. I want it to be the one that ends up in the drawer next to the Aquanaut, and stays there for thirty years.

Cain ×
Patek Aquanaut Chronograph
Cain is the only cat-eye in the collection — slim grey acetate, smoked lens, made for a woman who reads the menu in Italian. We paired it with the Patek Aquanaut Chronograph in rose gold and brown dial — the only Patek that argues for being worn at a beach in Capri. Both pieces share a single trait: they refuse to be noticed first.
