Chopin
Heavier acetate, cognac with a single gold rivet. A wink toward a dinner that will run late.
Hover · See it wornCognac acetate with a single gold rivet — the kind of small detail that turns a frame into an object you keep.
Worn with the Royal Oak Offshore Diver, the Chopin reads like an evening you remember the day after.
56-18-147. Heavier than fashion. Made for the man who arrives last and stays longest.
Italian Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate.
Cut from the same cellulose-acetate blocks Mazzucchelli has poured since 1849. Every Soletti frame is sliced and shaped by hand, then tumbled for seventy-two hours. The polish is what acetate does when it is left alone long enough.

Founder
The frame for a dinner that runs late.
The Chopin is the heaviest acetate in the house. It is cognac — the colour of an old leather suitcase, of a glass of something brown poured at midnight. I drew it for the evening, then realized the same person who wears it at dinner wears it at the office on Tuesday too.
The gold rivet at the bridge is a single piece of solid metal pressed into the still-warm acetate. It is not a sticker, it is not plated decoration. You can feel it with a fingernail twenty years from now. That is the kind of detail an atelier does because no factory will.
We paired it with the Royal Oak Offshore Diver in black ceramic. The watch was engineered for water and worn in the room. So is the Chopin.

Chopin is the evening frame — heavier acetate, cognac with a single gold rivet, a wink toward a dinner that will run late. Its companion is the Royal Oak Offshore Diver in black ceramic — engineered for water but worn for the room. Together they read as the man who arrives last and stays longest.
